Release Yourself To Be Used
Oh, how God desires to manifest his goodness through you. If only the self-imposed limitations can be done away with, the glorious nature of God will be made manifest to the world through you. This article you're reading is a special message from God to some people. If you're among these people, you will experience the great anointing of the Lord as you read. When you do, release yourself to pray. No matter the limitations you think you have, the almighty has the power to make you wonder about your generation.
I know you have seen all your limitations, your shortcomings, and your past failures. You have prayed many times like Paul, 'Three times I prayed to the Lord about this and asked him to take it away.' (2 Corinth. 12:8). You have wished you never had some experiences you had, wished you could change the past, and even wished and even wished (like the man at the pool) that you have someone to assist you. I like the way NIV and some other translations describe the response of the man at the pool, ''Sir,' the invalid replied, 'I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.' (John 5:7).
It is time to do away with all the invalid responses you have been putting up. It is time to release yourself. And until you break out of the self-imposed prison, the glorious power of God will not be made manifest in your life. You have focused so much on the things you lack, the talents you don't have, the bad stuff that has happened to you. You dwelled so much on 'how I wish...'. Those things are no barrier to God. He made you and he specifically did it for His own glory. You are created for His glory. You are made to be a great light to others. 'Let your light so shine'¦'.
Stop the self-pity, ARISE! Who told you, you can't do some of the things you wished you could do? One of the key interesting conversations in the bible is the one between God and Moses in the burning bush. In the dialogue, Moses complained to God, 'I have never been a good speaker. I wasn't one before you spoke to me, and I'm not one now. I am slow at speaking, and I can never think of what to say.' (Exodus 4:8) God gave Moses a response that has comforted me over the years especially when it feels like I am not good enough, "Who gave human beings their mouths?' God added, 'Now go! I will help you as you speak, and I will teach you what to say.'
Oh, how God desires to manifest his goodness through you, if only you will yield to the Spirit and stop focusing on yourself.
No matter how talented or unskilled you think you're, if you focus on yourself, you will not make a lasting impact in the Kingdom of God. God wants you to refocus and channel your attention on him. 'O God, am all yours!'. Believe what the Word says about you. Break out of the attitude of limitation. Break out from everything that limits the manifestation of God's grace in your life. The bible says, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinth. 12:9)
Remember, 'They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.' (Jonah 2:8)
Be like Mary, say to the Lord today, 'Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word.'
Make it your prayer now!
