How To Get What You Want

Don't let money stop you from getting what you want. Most times we're too focused on the monetary value of what we desire that we fail to realize we can have those things even without money. Money is hardly an end goal so never make it one. And to get what you desire from God, you have to learn to focus on the very thing you want and not on its monetary value. Don't allow 'how much' to limit you from reaching your goal.

Prior to my wedding I explained to my wife how I believe it is the best way to approach our wedding goal. I explained to her that we have to focus more on things we want more than their monetary value especially when we pray. I told her we don't need money for hall, we need a hall. Similarly, we don't need money for a wedding gown, we need a wedding gown, etc. Instead of being controlled by 'how much', put monetary value aside and develop a plan of what you want irrespective of how cheap or costly it's. DON't FOCUS ON THE MONEY, FOCUS ON THE THING.

I learnt this principle from my first pastor, Rev. Ikechukwu Mbah . We needed to build our church in the village then. He was never moved by how much whatever we need will cost. We had no money then, but his decision was hardly influenced by availability or unavailability of money. He pictured the kind of church building he wanted us to build, communicated the vision to us and together we prayed for its realization. Some people thought he was being braggadocios and can't realize the goals due to paucity of funds. However, to everyone's surprise we constantly realized the goals.

Don't ever allow money to stop you from reaching your goal. WRITE THE VISION AND MAKE IT CLEAR, for God is able to supply your need according to His riches in glory. He can give you something that you don't have money for. Don't focus on money, focus on your goals, and you will be amazed how you'll realize them, with or without money.
